How we collect, use, and protect your information on MeetVerify.

MeetVerify ("we", "us") provides background verification readiness tools and career consultations. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

Account details (email, name) when you register via magic link or Google.
Profile and BGV intake data you submit (employment, education, identity documents you upload).
Booking details for consultations (name, email, slot, payment reference).
BGV Quiz answers and contact details when you complete the quiz and agree to be contacted (we never ask for Aadhaar, PAN, passport numbers, or other ID/record details in the quiz).
Usage and device data via analytics tools if you accept cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use it

To deliver BGV checks, reports, bookings, and downloadable guides.
To follow up on quiz results and BGV support when you consent.
To process payments securely via Razorpay.
To email transactional messages (confirmations, reports, downloads).
To understand product usage and improve MeetVerify (only with analytics consent).

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. For BGV orders, we share the details you submit with our verification partner, SpringVerify, which runs the checks you select and collects your documents directly from you. We also use processors that help us operate the service: Supabase for hosting and sign-in, Razorpay for payments, Resend for email, Google for calendar and Meet links, and — only if you consent — Google Analytics and PostHog for analytics. We never share your data or reports with employers.

Retention & security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to documents and reports is restricted to the team handling your order. We keep uploaded documents and reports for 1 year after your report is delivered, then delete them. Account and payment records may be kept longer where the law requires it (for example, tax records).

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data at any time — including deleting documents before the 1 year period ends — by emailing contact@meetverify.net. You can withdraw analytics consent anytime via the Cookie Policy page.
